The Scorpion details are collected below. The card table is still a menu link away.

Select a face-up card, then a destination column. Dragging also works.

Meet Scorpion

Here are the details for this mode. The tableau has seven columns. Moves build down in the same suit rather than allowing cross-suit destinations. Four complete King-to-Ace runs clear the game. Scorpion on vvvorx.com uses one 52-card deck with four suits.

Read the opening cards

Keep these points in mind. The first three cards in each of the first four columns are face down. Three cards remain in the stock. Each opening column contains seven cards for a total of 49 tableau cards. All cards in the last three columns are face up.

Build in the same suit

A few details help explain this feature. A King cannot land on another card because no higher rank exists. A moved group's leading card must land on a card exactly one rank higher in the same suit. A seven of hearts can land on an exposed eight of hearts. A seven of hearts cannot land on an eight of spades.

Order within a group may vary

A few details help explain this feature. Any face-up card can be selected together with every card beneath it. The leading selected card still has to meet the destination rule. The selected cards do not need to descend in rank to travel together. The selected cards do not need to share a suit to travel together.

Only Kings fill empty space

Here are the details for this mode. A group led by a lower rank cannot enter an empty column. An empty column accepts a King or a group led by a King. Cards beneath a moved King do not need to be in sequence. An empty column is therefore less flexible than an empty column in ordinary Spider.

Uncover another choice

Here are the details for this mode. The next hidden card is revealed automatically. Removing all face-up cards above a hidden card turns that hidden card face up. Undo restores the earlier hidden-card arrangement when the move is reversed. An exposed card can carry the cards beneath it when its own destination is legal.

Use the stock once

Keep these points in mind. The stock contains one final deal of three cards. Dealing places a face-up card on each of the first three columns. This Scorpion version permits its stock deal when columns are empty. There are no further stock cards after the three-card deal.

Complete a suit

The following details apply here. The game removes a qualifying run automatically from the bottom of a column. A completed run must descend from King to Ace in one suit. Moving an unordered group does not make that group a completed sequence. All thirteen cards in a collected run must be face up.

Plan around blocked cards

A few details help explain this feature. Replay and Undo let you explore another approach to the same layout. Hint lists legal choices without promising a winning continuation. A move can carry unwanted cards along with a useful leading card. Checking the whole moved group helps you anticipate what will become blocked.
